Porter’s Office Products is an established and fast-growing company, searching for a Warehouse Lead/Back up Driver in our Rexburg area. Business hours are Monday through Friday—with no weekends! This full-time position is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, likes to stay busy and enjoys a warehouse atmosphere. This is a great opportunity with a well-established company for someone who is organized, has attention for detail while performing at a fast pace and loves to bring great service to customers.
Skills/Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills
- Data Entry and computer skills required
- Must be able lift at least 50lbs
- Organized and able to perform exact accuracy while working at a face pace
- Time management skills
- Forklift experience preferred
- Clean Driving Record.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Plans, directs, and coordinates warehouse and distribution activities, while following applicable company and government rules and regulations
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse, building and surrounding property to promote a safe and friendly environment for customers and team members
- Ensure product inventory control procedures are conducted and followed
- Load and unload trucks
- Fill orders for office supplies and office furniture for customers while meeting internal schedules, quality standards and exact accuracy
- Use customized system to receive freight daily
- Ship packages using customized system
- Perform all functions in compliance with all Porter’s regulations and company safety rules
Other Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist in delivery and installation of furniture
- Perform product returns and credits
- Make customer deliveries as needed
- Assist in coverage for Retail Floor and customer service
